Unfortunately spawning salmonids have been difficult to find in the Golden Gate National Parks the past few years. We’ve had better success with the parr life cycle stage. This photo compares a Coho parr to a Steelhead parr for identification purposes. Photo courtesy of and © Paola Bouley, SPAWN.
