Search for the Mission Blue Butterfly

Saturday, April 17, 2010, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.: Join butterfly monitors Susie Bennett and Caroline Christman, both from the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, in the Marin Headlands to search for the endangered Mission Blue Butterfly in its beautiful and unique grassland habitat. They will lead you on a moderate hike where you will learn about the local wildflowers and the restoration work being done to help save this beautiful but rare butterfly from extinction.
